MacRetro chat and rides thread

I might be able to squeeze the sbike in the boot and then we only need two on the rack

I know what you mean jimi about the tool, read a few posts on a fixie forum and they describe a different tool.

I might be putting a set of stx rc cranks on the miniclockwork (hiss boo etc) and according to sheldon brown they need a 113 BB so you might want to keep it up for sale in the meantime

I'm up for sitting down after the ride in a pub/cafe and having a good chin wag and some scran if anyone else fancies?

I got a whole day pass so might as well make the most of it

Gazz i'm quite happy to take the car too, could fit the rack a jimi's. Also have a strut thingy that goes between the seat post and the stem for mounting weirdo bikes on racks

They can take the boy out of Germany but not Germany out of the boy I see. That's some quality precision timing going on there.

OK folks, a sad fact about me is I need an event to look forward to, its my fix, already the withdrawal symptoms are kicking in

So where are we going in March ???????

Suggestions please

Ae, Mabie, Dalbeatie, Newcastleton, Innerleithen, Carron Valley, Fire Tower trail, Arran, Laggan, etc etc etc etc ....................

Impatience is not a virtue but I do not care

Cheers Velo

P.S. I'm a convert to trail centres, Jedburgh was too tough for my namby pamby self, but saying that I'd probably do it again

I would need to keep it local this month, so pollok or maybe carron valley at a push. I will head up to pollok this weekend as I believe they have changed it about abit and will give you all a wee report.
