M-ighty singlespeed cranks

Sugino's are kinda funny. I swear, they've been in the business of single speed and track cranks for ages. I don't know when Shimano released its first SS specific crank, but I'm sure Sugino has been doing them since the 80's.

Could be wrong though.

I sold a set of Super Mightys for $40 bucks along with a whole bunch of other stuff. I kinda regret that now, but I made 4x profit on the whole lot.

In my experience the cheaper sugino's as on lower end Kona's and the sugino made white industries cranks found on Marins in the mid nineties had a habit of bending.

The cold forged Mighty's which had a funny brown tinge to the colour lasted really well for me. They were a little more flexy than the Shimano XT equivalent but they were lighter. Mine came on my 95 Explosif and died in a DH race in 1999 when I hit a stump off a six foot step down on my intense

I had them on both my track bike and grass track bike. Good cranks and not silly money. Good value for money 8)

I saw those on the bay. I thought it was just a coincidence they have the same name as the Sugino ones.

I just got a set of Sugino XD off Jensons Web site in the states. I think these come in SS and look pretty nice.
