Lovely forks - Pace RC35 rare iridescent

These are the early pre production versions, originally came with bonded canti studs but prone to snapping so fitted with clamps.

I have a set still with the bonded studs, though i wont be using them any time soon :LOL:
 
I sent mine to Pace HQ for a full factory service and elastomer replacement. (previous owner had put the soles of a trainer in as elastomer bungs!) They came back like new, minty smooth.

The boys in the workshop were pretty impressed with them, the bloke on the other side of workshop from the phone I was on! remembers them coming out or something. Think he said they made a very small batch in late 1992 into early 1993 off memory With the iridescent leg logos.

Awesome to learn about the additional production history.

I got mine in late 1992 , originally still running my flexstem - causing much back of GCSE classroom debate of the travel of both would cancel each other out 🤣

Still have the stickers intact, but one is a little torn but mostly intact.

Upgraded legs to Atmosphere Balance kit at Malverns 1993
