the paintwork isnt perfect but im chuffed, she compliments my giant cfr / shimano 600 perfectly.

this was thought to be a 1996 frame based on the sellers pic that i uploaded in the 'how much...' thread, any advances on this? i find it odd that theres a dura ace seatopost on there, will probably have to change that...

Very nice, though you may want to re-set the handlebar and the saddle

definitely keep those mirage (?) ergos as spare parts.. Few days ago I crashed my VGC record titanium ergos, and needed to buy a right handed athena to get the broken parts..

Oh, and try to get hold of a Campag seat post if you can

Your brake calipers are also very nice. They're dual pivot, so definitely bite like hell compared to the old monoplanar style.

yes, I realise the saddle and ergos are off, though oddly, im at my most comfortable with saddles that are tilted slightly forward. otherwise I suffer with pereneial (sp?) pain... loath to bother with the ergos at this point, seeing as ill be getting those athenas soon.

campag seatpost is definitely a must, cant really be riding around with a shimano seatpost on an otherwise full campy bike! (pedals best ignored methinks) just isn't right!

im very surprised with this saddle. I have trouble with most saddles and have only really ever found comfort on a broken in brooks, however this squadra is lovely and comfy!

still not sold on the way the frame handles, though am totally in love with the campag bling, wont be selling this bike complete that's for sure, those wheels and gruppo will find a home somewhere!

time and miles will tell, I really do hope I fall in love with the ride, its such a LOOKer!
