Long drop calliper advice

I've not built a road bike in ages, but have started a project. Amassed all the parts I thought I needed but have run into a problem. Brakes done reach the rims on the rear and are marginal on the front.

The frame is a kinesis racelight T2, groupset is a mix of SRAM rival and force 10 speed.

I'd prefer to keep the SRAM vibe but can't seem to find any brake calipers.

What should I be looking for drop measurement wise?

Any recommendations on a decent, yet affordable long drop set of callipers if SRAM don't do any? Need to be black.

Thanks.

Tektro or shimano. 47-57mm should do it on a kinesis - you could measure the drop -centre of brake bolt to centre of rim

Tektro offer a couple of qualities and colours, shimano its the R451.
We keep those in stock it's such a common requirement, and an excellent brake. I'm not sure black is available atm??

Neither are cheap, and demand (used) is high, but you might find some on ebay or post a Wanted.

Thanks, I'll measure the drop.

I was hoping to find something a little cooler looking but perhaps beggars can't be choosers.

Black is a must, as the rest of the bike is rocking that scheme and looking quite nice. White may also work as frame has white detailing.

I am running a 105 front mech so Shimano isn't out of the question. Do SRAM not do any, I've struggled to find an option.

Tektro R539 or R559, depending on the drop you need. They are available in black, work very well and are decently finished.
As far as I know, SRAM never made a deep drop calliper, while Shimano's excellent non-series R600 was not produced in black.

I'm very satisfied with the R559 setup on my otherwise Campag equipped Witcomb.
