LITESPEED MIRA F&F needs small repair

FRAME & FORKS, DURA ACE 172.5 crankset

Litlespeed Mira small Scandium frame with titanium enhanced carbon. Fair condition, no dents, just cable rub here and there. There is also a small crack at the top of the seatpost tube. Could be easily cut out and re welded. Comes with full carbon fork and headset, but no cranks as shown. Seatpost is jammed inside frame and will need to be cut out. £150 plus 20 roughly for postage.

Will include dura ace cranks at extra cost.

well the heat from the "simple" re-weld will probably loosen/destroy the seatpost , and may hurt the glued in wishbone too ?

The crack isint down to the weld yet, so could be cut out and filled. The reason it developed the crack is because of a seatpost shim! :-( I don't have time to repair. I bough the bike from the previous owner who didnt see the crack. I dont think the seatpost would make it out in tact unless you can remove the shim first. Hope this helps.

I'm also fully aware that it's a complete gamble. That repair in the wrong hands will destroy the frame and make it unridable.
The right hands are bloody expensive not to mention the paint job it would require afterwards.
My offer still stands as is. If it's not acceptable that's fair enough.
