Besides, it is natural for relationships to falter when one of the protagonists is suffering ignominy in another facet of their life. Had it happen myself, and experienced the improvements when things started going well.

If I was to form an opinion on Nicole from the public visage, it would be one of a caring and intelligent woman, with a great sense of humour. I am not shitting you, I think she is a gem.

I have ordered a Lewis Hamilton life size statue. I will install a circular glass disc on the top and keep my bust of Oliver Reed on it and my cigar kit.

Watched a brief interview of Rosberg after the race - very lucid, very mature - clearly very disappointed, but he had the presence of mind to recognise that the problems with his car didn't have any true impact - Hamilton was already leading the race comfortably. He accepted that Hamilton performed better over the season and in the races, and that's what he needs to work on.

I mean clearly during the race, he was still giving everything he could for as long as he could. The team offered him the chance to pit and park it, but he wanted to finish the race.

How drivers deal with difficult stuff, to me, is more telling than how the cope when everything is sweet. I hope he's just as strong if not stronger next year, and would like to see him win the championship against a strong, on-form Hamilton - just not sure if that's tenable, yet.

I like Rosberg, he certainly took it like a man.

The way things are going in F1, I can't see the same string of dominance from one team for several seasons. If anyone will prevail next year before Ferrari come back to smash it, it will be Hamilton.

He is by far the more talented of the two, by results and by statistics.

Let us not be in denial, we have a world class superhero driver. One of the all time greats.

Vettel was a blip on the screen, Hamilton is the real talent at the table now Alonso is in decline.

I haven't written off Vettel, I think he needs to stir it up a bit, though, and a change of team may well just do that. Just can't see Ferrari being much of a threat at the moment.

Meanwhile, Ricciardo has been like a breath of fresh air this year. Bottas has shown solid potential, too.

I think Lewis, Nico, Jenson, Fernando, and his soon to be ex team mate Daniel Ricciardo are all better drivers than Vettel, maybe even Massa. Can't see him doing anything at Ferrari
