I can't see the wealth in closely associating your perception of someone as a 'personality' and what they do professionally - most footballers, musicians, film stars, writers, actors, yada blah will have their detractors based on personality, but they can still be talented, inspiring, a joy to watch doing what they do. It's not like he's your close friend and you have to suffer the ignominy of him wearing gold chains whilst you hang out by his private jet.

Hamilton is a complex fella, and no, I probably wouldn't want to spend an evening with him playing Scrabble, but boy can he drive an F1 car well.
