Lava Dome

Hmmm... maybe too small for me, and too big for Mrs jimo746...

I'll try and get over to have a look (only about 10 miles from where I am at the moment).

1998 Lava Dome?
Look at the gap on the head tube between the top tube and down tube.
It's smaller than 18"
Plus seat tube also, but we shall see what others think.

It can be quite hard to tell an 18" from a 17". Kona XC geometry didn't change from 1994 through the millennium, and the 17" and 18" frames both had the same headtube length of 110mm.

I can't claim to be absolutely certain, but here's another 18" Lava Dome. What do you reckon?

I think the clamp-on mudguard makes the Gumtree bike's seat tube look shorter than it really is.

Well, my Dad's got a 18" 1999 Hahanna and his head tube looks bigger.
Edit, just reading your link :)
My Dad...how lame does that sound
Me and boy got him it but he hardly uses it.

Also, I think the 18" frame you linked to looks the same.
So I could be wrong, don't mind admitting it.

Re:

Saw it, liked it, bought it. :)

Looks alright, LX running gear, comedy handlebars, will have a proper look at it tomorrow.
