Sizing a 1992 Kona

I have my eye on one, but want to know what size it is, can't really tell from the photo I've seen. Is it written somewhere or is there a measurement that makes it obvious that I can ask the seller to check?

centre to top for konas - there's a 92 catalogue on konaretro.com that'll give you full geometry from the C-T seattube length

bugger, someone on here had a great technique using the toptube and were it would intersect the rear wheel, this will tell you the size, but I didn't pay too much attention

All I know is that an 18 inch frame line hits the rim when you draw the line backward (if you know what I mean) :roll:

i remember that, very handy to know.
sight the top tube through the back wheel the line it takes will give you the size. 17 inch will be just below the rim, 18 inch hits the rim, 19 inch just above the rim.

Yes, it's 20, top of tyre, 19 hits tyre, 18 just below rim, 17 well below rim, 16 almost half way to hub, 14 almost hub. I apparently have to make two posts to show you one of each, but here are 14 to 18.

BUT this rule doesn't help DevelopmentCycle, because it applies only from 1993 onwards, previous years had flatter top tubes.
