Hi All

Was digging around in my shed yesterday and found a big box, opened it to find my old Lake road shoes with the cleats on for my pair of Time mid 57's............. So now they are both for sale

Barely used Lake cx 200 shoes Size Euro 44 US 10 1/2 with shimano carbon soles, spd compatible, very light.

Time mid 57 pedals off my Cannondale R500 were painted now bare alloy polished, bearings smooth as silk

Interested, how wide are they? Are they a true 44 or do they come up short length wise? My look carbons kill me in the width :cry: but have plenty of room in the toe.
Is it a true Carbon sole or resin compound?

Hi Tony

Sizing questions are always difficult to answer, but all I can tell you is I was surprised to find these were 44's I normally take a 45 and I can get my feet in them. As for the width I have always had wide feet and these are pretty good for cycling shoes width wise.

Now the sole is an altogether different matter. The word Carbon was bandied about a lot between the mid nineties and early noughties, with some claims being true and some false, all I can say is it is a quality Shimano sole in what looks like a grey g.r.p. but could well be some form of carbon :?:
