ladybirds...farzands of em ...

any one else got troubles with these blighters....was in bacton this morning to see the whole seafront covered in them.the pavement was crunchy to stand on ...the photo i took was a small bit of the flood wall which is about 2 thirds of a mile long.it was covered from 1 end to the other with them..the drains were full of dead ones that had built up in large amounts..... :shock:

That happened in 76 seaside town taken over by them. Love the little buggers.
 
yep....yarmouth and gorleston got slapped with a plauge of green fly followed shortly afterwards by the ladybirds..in the same year if i recall.
 
Then they started biting people as their food source ran out. Swine Flu and now invasion of the killer Lady Bugs, we're all doomed, doomed

Its not as bad as the hundreds of wasps I have removed from my loft over the last week or so. They have built their nest above my stash of occasional bikes :(
