Kuwahara Shasta

You've got victor..... ermm velo to thank for the really nice forks- he's a top fella and no mistakin' gov'ner!

More I look at it, the more I like it. Really mental bar/brake situation but will reserve judgement until I get a wee go- this is the cyclo-cross bike-non? You better put some water-wings on it, given it looks like it is going to rain until may next year

what bike is velo using for the winter cyclo-toss adventures?

by the way what you doing with the other stem you had on orig. It looks very nice if you know what I mean- I make you very good deal ten dollar ten dollar me love you long time

remind me about the stem on thursday and I'll let you see it.

I *think* I prefer the lines of the original fork. However, I will stop pretending to know anything about this stuff and withhold judgement until forks painted, wedge removed and stem at right height..

I do prefer this set up but ultimately its a turd polishing excercise  try as I might high rise stems and skinny tyres do nothing for me, but it should be fit for purpose (mibee)

Liking that Klaus, the rear mech as a tensioner is a nice idea. Did you need to use longer adjustment screws?

One of the screws reached ok but the other was short. I ran it anyway as the tension is quite high. The other thing you can do is mod a bit of cable and use that.

Thats a fantastic idea! I have an old mech that might just be perfect for that. Thanks for all your advice, it's greatly appreciated.

In fact to develop that you might be able to sleeve the cable with part of a V brake noodle. Should jam the mech in place.
