stickers and forks need to be brown to match and the mech needs liberating of its upper jockey bit on the cage

I think the forks aren't helping, but maybe not brown possibly black. Aye and the wee jockey bit is annoying now you've pointed it out

So I'm thinking black forks black saddle black bartape. I also think the stems annoying me too maybe a forged one :? would be better. I reckon I could do with a tad more reach anyway but the rise is fine for the bars.

And defo ginger before the rough one, and I'd be thinking of Kimberly

That sounds better, maybe less of a Nicola Roberts and more a Sarah Harding then , probably never be a Cheryl Cole though

Love the bike, its a perfect mud plugging racer as it is, wouldn't change a thing

I would get some black lever hoods some cinelli splash tape in purple and black... but possibly keep the brown saddle as a bit of contrast...

...and then get a cassette to go with the rear mech.

cheers buddy, still quite smitten by it. I've a black flite on just now and hopefully have some straight blade forks soon. Also I hope I have sorted the stem out too. The hoods are staying though, they match the gumwalls and give a wee retro look and I've already ordered black tape. Had thought about some jazzy tape but couldn't really find anything that had enough class

Minor update, now with P2s and a better stem. Forks have a wedge stuck in them so can't get the stem an lower at the mo. Will probably finish it and test run it, if it passes I'll take the forks to work and get the wedge out, will probably finish them black at the same time. Will get better pics soon. :roll:

Really big improvement loving the forks and the saddle looks much more balanced and should be nice and direct, mind you the crank bashcrash thing is still rank :twisted:

aye its pretty boggin, hopefully help keep the chain on and its a tiny bit better than the pressed steel chainring
