I’ve been looking to replace my now quite worn Biopace steel chainrings for a little while
(am using 110/74bcd LX M560 crank arms with 48-38-28 rings and HG50 7 speed cassette).
I’m very tempted by new standard Middleburn rings but saw these Kooka ones (which are seemingly quite a lot cheaper) on ebay and wondered if anyone had experience of them, good or bad?
Kooka Chainrings
I saw the posts on the Kooka coolwall vote, some of which were quite damning! I don’t remember being aware of Kooka BITD and have no experience of using any of their components at present.
Have found it difficult to find much on the web that relates to these specific ones; they seem to have a revised logo from the original nineties ones. The seller says that they think they’re approx. four years old, for 9 speed and made of 6061 – does anyone know if this is accurate?
Or am I better off just going with new Middleburn rings? :?
As always any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
Cheers
