I have just thought how does the stem fit over that head set. There is nothing for it to clamp too. See pictures on the link on the first post to see what I mean. There must be a way round this.

The frame is now in for painting. Its being done in metallic black. I will leave it unbranded. I am now trying to find all the bits that will go with the newly painted frame.

I got the seat post out by melting it, it dribbled out.

This is a proper bike, none of this new fangled ahead pap. You need a quill stem (a real proper stem) that fits inside the headset/steerer.

not yet..... but it is an option i'm contemplating on a mk1 raleigh burner!!!
