Well today Tim has stripped the frame of parts and took the rear suspension of. Had fun with one of the bolts as the Allen key head was rounded of so just spinned around. But got it of right before I was leaving, so frame is in 3 parts ready for being taken to get it powder coated.

anyone know what these ride like (when they work) ive riden one years ago that a mate had but the rear was shot and it rode worse than my other mates apollo... im guessing when they arnt hammered they are alot better... but are they kona good? or just ok? reason i ask is i have access to one a local bike guy has (old guy that buys em up and fixes to sell on) he has one hanging in his garage that needs a rear wheel but is otherwise there and realy clean...

If the price is good take it, the suspension is quite simple, bushes can be made up by engineering companies if shot but shocks are an odd length so make sure that is ok.

How easy would it be to fit a disc to the rear of this frame? I don't know if a standard disc adaptor will work, anyone got any ideas?

I'm sure you could get a 'tab' made and welded on if you wanted. However IMHO :) not worth the hassle and 'spoils' the originality of the frame/build. Totally up to you though ;)

Why not build this up and if you want to go disc do it as the next project maybe? :?

Think you guys are right might be best to stick with vbrakes

Thanks again for your advice guys :!:
