Kona Kula: fitting full front SKS mudguard

Hi Guys & Gurus

I'm about to fit front SKS Bleumel to retro Rockshox Judy's. There's a small blind hole...see p-clip pic...in centre of Judy bridge it looks just made for drilling through...like it was an m-guard option?
The two SKS stays shall fix using a couple of those s steel rubber/plastic collared 35mm (piping) p-clips...there's zillions on that other place.

Any comments on Judy's bridge...before I...would be more than welcome.

By the way...on my 3 demo outings have had chain ride (then chain chew then lock) when changing from (new Dynamic) 32T middle down to 22T granny: chain SRAM 8 speed 104 links measured on checking 10mm longer, it this a lot? than new ready to go on Shimano. I've rotated granny by two holes (5 hole fix) hoping this might sync the 32/22 teeth a bit better?

In the mean time...

that threaded hole in the bridge of this Judy is intended to take a reflector bracket.

I would not recommand drilling through it, as that magnesium alloy is prone to corrossion afterwards and you could weaken the structure of it.

Re:

As above. It is for a reflector bracket and I also would not drill it through.
You should be able to mount the mudguard from the front of the brace as per the original reflector.
