Just picked up a Kona Score. Serial # KS17086. Anyone have any ideas how to get decals? The guy I bought this from said the original decals were glow in the dark and I'd love to get some

Gil at retrodecals is the man however not sure if he can do glow in the dark.

Update Dec-24

The original thread has been restored after the entire thread was deleted due to a hacker accessing a moderators account in 2023. Read more about that here. Sadly much of the thread content was lost, but we have the most important part: the front page!

Work to make this and all of the Kona serial number lists more accessible and easier to reference, with appropriate security, is underway.

So far, to my knowledge, no-one has been able to replicate the exact glow in the dark design so unless they've totally disappeared, best retain what's there no matter the condition.

Nice one, and also thanks to @Romanrinos for first alerting me to this giant Hot. Easily 21", and my eyes say that's 330 as well (and 21"!). What do we think? It can't be 336 given that already exists and it doesn't look like an 8 either.

Woo-hoo, it's new-old Hot day!

A few minutes after I posted last weeks IG update, I received a DM from a chap en-route to pick up "an Explosif or Hot", asking if I could help clarify what it was he was about to purchase A few messages and pictures later...









...I offered my congratulations! Not only is it an Altitude Hot, it's a rasta-flames Hot with custom decals!

Hopefully we'll get some better pictures in the coming weeks as it's restored and built up (it has a stuck seat-post).

This is only the 4th rasta Hot on record, and brings the total known Altitude Hot's to 26. With no top tube decals at all, could this have been a team race bike back in the day? The production run of November is late for the season but stranger things have happened...

H09611061 – 18” 1997 Rasta Green & Yellow Flame, Goathead Dropouts. Original custom white edged down-tube decals. Standard original head-tube and 853 decals. No custom made seat-tube or top-tube decals.

LHD car I assume means I’m safe.
