Excellent, I loved the old Kona splatter frames.
When I had my Shand Stoater built, I asked them to do a splatter paint job on it

Lovely bike...at the far extreme of pricing from my lowly Kona by a factor of about 100. But both rocking the splatter look!

Nothing lowly about any Kona in my book, very close to my heart.
Raced a few BITD and loved them all.
My last Kona was a Cinder Cone given to me by a friend, I then passed it on to another friend, but I know he doesn't use it much now .
I might need to ask for it back

For completeness here is the finished article. Seatpost ridicuously high as per usual with Konas, plus this is not quite my size but I'm trying it out later today.

In the end I replaced the handlebars, shifters and brake levers, the seat and seatpost, the cranks, respoked the wheels and put new tyres on.

Ha ha, I looked all over he sidewall and no markings. So obviously I put them on different ways to cover all angles.

I'd be very pleased if someone knows definitively which way round these tyres are supposed to go.
