Just on 8 Weeks away watched the early press conferences today from them both and wonders has Haye got it in him to beat Klitschko i had no doubt when he squared up to Harrison that he would win not so sure on this one though.

I'm into boxing as well as most sports, thing with the heavyweights is one punch can finish a fight. I think Haye is too quick for Klitschko. He can punch hard with both fists.

I don't think that Klitschko has really fought anyone with Hayes speed and footwork. Should be a good fight, looking forward to Degale vs Groves

.

I think if Klitschko can get near him he'll win, but if Haye can keep away from him for 12 rounds and still scores points he'll win

Merrywether v Pacquiao should/would be awesome.
I also heard they were trying to get Amir Khan and Pacquiao together, which unfortunately i think would be like a boy fighting a man :D

tyson in his prime would eat these two for lunch...haye got lucky ...he doesnt match up to holyfield and i think hes retired?

And Ali in his prime would have given Tyson a big headache - and may have been clever enough to beat him.

As much as I appreciate Tyson in his prime being a truly devastating, almost unprecendented for a heavyweight - the scalps he took in his prime don't really reveal how good he was, then. All the same, Ali / Clay overcame much harder opponents that nobody really thought he would have done, in his day.

And Tyson's prime didn't truly last that long, Douglas took him when he shouldn't have been able, and that was about the start of the slide. He was never the same after prison.

he only beat cooper because the ref stopped the round for a bad cut...he would have lost against him...he could show boat though...great boxer...no greats anymore...bring back marvellous marvin,,spinks, the dark destroyer,....

I doubt it - he beat greater fighters, and greater challenges.

Bruno had a big punch, and gave Tyson pause for thought - but unless he was inexplicably lucky, was never going to beat him.

Ali (well Clay, then) beat Liston easily - in fact made him look like a chump, when EVERYBODY (probably Clay / Ali too) thought Ali would get destroyed.

In their 2nd fight (conveniently ignoring the conspiracy theories) Ali made him look totally ineffectual.

People who dismiss Clay / Ali in light of somebody like Tyson miss out on Tyson's easy early career - he was largely untested in his prime, when he looked so good. And largely untested after being in prison for a while. And they also miss out on the fact that Clay / Ali took on some fighters most never thought he had an even remote chance of beating, yet prevailed.

He was more than show-boat and loud mouth, though.

And I'm far from his biggest fan. He treated Frazier appallingly, even accepting mind-games.

Hagler was another great. I don't think he ever got over his fight / travesty with Sugar Ray Leonard. Pretty much why he retired, wasn't it?

ali was floored and his legs were gone...cooper would have taken him...tyson had a major weakness...he got lazy...bruno just lacked the killer in him to do the damage...that and a really bad jaw when he got walloped..i only ever saw bruno get mad once in his career,,,that was a tyson slap...he nearly floored him...his legs wobbled but he didnt go down..one of my fav boxing pics is of ali standing over liston...awsome stuff
