KLEIN ADROIT - NOS frame [SOLD pending payment]

Just found this in the pre-97 Klein Tech manual regarding the carbon fiber/born reinforcements on the Adroit frames (page 10):

BORON / CARBON FIBERS ARE BONDED TO:
chain stays, seat stays, fork crown and fork blades of the Adroit frameset.

It is the top but by 1997, Adroits were Attitudes. From 1991-96, Adroits were special in that they had boron reinforced stays and forks (if rigid) and received extra attention on finish issues. By 1997 when Trek took over, this was no longer the case. Not a bad bike, just not an "Adroit" in my eyes.

Partially true yes, but only the 1991-1993 Adroits had boron fider on stays. 1994-96 Adroits didn't have boron anymore except for the rigid Strata fork.
Still, in 1997 Adroit and Mantra Pro were of much better quality and especially had nicer finish compared to Attitude (which was a Pulse/Pulse II of previous years) & others. Since in 1996 most of the Adroits had Attitude frames, this is basically the same as 1996 Adroit/Attitude but with threaded BB shell and rear brake routing for V brakes instead of cantilevers.
