I'm selling a NOS Klein Adroit frame on behalf of my best buddy.

This is a 1997 Adroit frame with a 'Koi' paintjob.
The size is 19" with 579mm effective toptube length.

The frame is new, never built and is in pristine condition.
Comes with a receipt too.

Serial number is 19T0996318 so it's made in September 1996.

The frame has threaded BB shell and rear brake cable routing meant for the V brakes. The headset is Klein Airheadset which is compatible with MC2/MC3/MC3.1 forks. You can get original bearings from TREK as well as adaptors for using a 1 1/8" fork. Also available are special headsets from Reset Racing (http://www.reset-racing.de/).

Price: 600 EUR + fully insured trackable shipping

Shipping price estimates:
Netherlands 73 EUR
Sweden 73 EUR
Denmark 73 EUR
Norway 89 EUR
France 93 EUR
United Kingdom 97 EUR
Spain 97 EUR
Switzerland 107 EUR

Shipping to Germany seems to require some modifications to the box but the price should be in the same ballpark.

If I am able to ship it cheaper, I will naturally refund the excess amount.

where in the heiraerchy of klein frames does the Adroit sit?

This looks really cool, and I'm so tempted!

It is the top but by 1997, Adroits were Attitudes. From 1991-96, Adroits were special in that they had boron reinforced stays and forks (if rigid) and received extra attention on finish issues. By 1997 when Trek took over, this was no longer the case. Not a bad bike, just not an "Adroit" in my eyes.

Partially true yes, but only the 1991-1993 Adroits had boron fider on stays. 1994-96 Adroits didn't have boron anymore except for the rigid Strata fork.
Still, in 1997 Adroit and Mantra Pro were of much better quality and especially had nicer finish compared to Attitude (which was a Pulse/Pulse II of previous years) & others. Since in 1996 most of the Adroits had Attitude frames, this is basically the same as 1996 Adroit/Attitude but with threaded BB shell and rear brake routing for V brakes instead of cantilevers.
