If Andrew sees this, note the serial KK19038. Definitely a 1999 frame, so if you're right and it really does mean that it was the 38th size 19 made since the very beginning of the 98 model year, then they can't have made very many in 98. I thought they were still selling pretty well at that point?

That’s interesting Anthony. I would have assumed that the KK prefix (starting in 199 would have been in the 100’s by 1999.

A curious serial number (and decal version) came to my attention back in March. This was advertised as a 19” Hei Hei. I thought it was more likely to be a 20” and obviously a King Kahuna. I asked for the serial number and received a rather odd reply with XX2000000000.

I can only assume the guy misread it as KK20, and then I’m not sure about the amount of zeros.

Like the current one you have highlighted in Canada, the sequential serial number also seems to be on the low side.
