Karma Kona!! Knocked together in an afternoon.....

Re:

The rear wheel has been out of him for a couple of days being 'donated' elsewhere, I could polish the back end again while I have access...

Here he is last Sunday, being admired by a pot belly pig. At least I think that's what it was.... Note different seat post now. The only recent change....

It's good to see your still using the Kona even if the rear triangle does need a lot of polishing ;) .

So how come you've changed the seat post kaz as the other looked fine to me and those P2's look the business so i'd personally stick with them but that's not just my opinion ask the pig :? and speaking of forks the old subway forks are not yet fitted to the Rockrider as yet due to them being in the middle of a colour change :)

Re:

Can't remember why I changed the post  sumat to do with Dad needing the one I had and this being lighter. And the clamp area didn't 'stick up' so much! I think that was my reasoning....

The P2's will be staying for definite. There's not a lot of point changing anything else on him now, he does the job and it really is the hack bike, hence the lack of care and polishing! Good luck with the subway forks, sounds like they will get some use in the end....

Sounds like your dad needed a stronger or maybe longer post to me  , any hows regardless of the seat i guess a lighter post can only mean you got a better deal eh! .

Yes i was getting ready to fit the forks this week ,

I was planning on adding another colour to the bike so it's practically 2 tone so not to sure about the forks as they are now  ..

Cheers Kaz ! , I've decided i'm going to add another colour to them even though their going to look a little " Far Out ! " their going to brighten up my little decaff ;) ..
