Not the Queen but was invited and attended to have drinks with Princess Anne at Holyrood palace in Edinburgh a few years back. Lovely lady.
My sister back home still has the invitation as it came from Buckingham Palace. It was gold embossed and from the master of the household, Buckingham Palace and stated ' Her Majesty requests the pleasure of your company.........'
