Need tyres for me truck and I've been offered a couple of 235/75/16's for the back

The fronts are 225/75/16's

Anyone know if this is likely to cause a problem?

The difference in rolling circumference is 46mm (225's are 2269mm, 235's are 2315mm)

Don't do it, the front and rear wheels will be going at different speeds. The first thing to go bang will be the centre diff. Also you need to keep the load index of the tyres the same (or higher) as the original spec.

It's not permanent 4wd ('94 Isuzu Trooper)..

I've always held the belief that it's a bad idea, and understand the going at differen speeds thing, but never investigated any further than that and didn't know of real-world implications..

Might have to get these 235's and leave them 'on the shelf' until I can score a couple more..

Ideally I want 265/75/16's but the cost
