Is this a Syncros BB?

Show axle without plastic - should be a bit thicker in the middle and it should be lenght engraved there

It certainly looks a lot like my syncros BB. Missing the cups and lockrings tho, but I doubt that's a problem in your case

If it is a syncros, those bearings aren't coming off without a press.

lol, it's on my list of things to do!

The bearings came off without a press though! Two cone scanners a vice and lump hammer

This is the axle, it's not thicker in the middle or got a length stamped on it though.

from memory that's how my syncros axle looked

it doesn't really matter whether it is or it isn't, all ti bottom bracket axles are about the same weight/strength

Yes it is very light, I was surprised by the weight!

Syncros I'm owning is having a bit different axle - like this one showed in '94 catalogue from here:

But it can be just axle from different Year... Mine weight less than 180g in 110,5 axle
