just got one today and still working it out.

been downloading a few aps from the itunes store.

any folk know of any good ones?

im new to all this.

Memory Map is good. Plot your route on 1:2500 mapping before or during a ride. Download the map for the area you will be riding in and won't need to rely on a signal either.

OS also does free UK mapping but it is on the slow side.

Trails is a good tool for recording your rides.

Aroundme is a good app for finding banks, petrol stations, cafes etc when away from home.

Photobucket, flickr and eBay all have handy apps for the RetroBiker.

Sneezies is a great game for keeping the kids quiet on Sunday mornings whilst you get an extra tem minutes kipp.

eGay, Paypal, Photobucket, iBooks (stores pdf manuals wonderfully), AA Parking, Argos, Ikea, Dictionary, call saver, Multiconvert, Clinometer, SPL Meter, Wikipedia.

The NASA app is a bit geeky but quite cool 8)

The iPhone is my only net access when at home so most of my post's, even the ones with pictures on my build threads etc are constructed on it :D

WD :D

I really like the cyclemeter app for recording rides etc.
It logs the usual times, distance, average and max speeds plus you can view your route on an active map.
Also shows climbs/decents on a graph.
Bargain for less than 3 squids :D

im sure my mate has that, his is linked to facebook too, keeps telling me when/where he has set off from.

it starts and logs automatically doesnt it?

think that one will be on the cards.
