Ooohh I just came back from the MTBR with another language innovation to share, "whip" is the new "rig". I'll quote them directly
"I’m in the process of dialing in a new XC (-ish) whip."

Whip works best if you pronounce it like Stuey from Family Guy.

shred - as in 'she shredded it' - shred = noteworthy and quite good riding

I thought the "shred" was where I kept my bikes after 8 pints and a cider chaser.
