t'was once considered to be the finest innovation since Hovis got sliced, but now it seems to have fallen out of vogue along with a sense of humour

I like to embarrass myself by pronouncing the g in gnar when I converse with my young colleagues in the bike industry. They can't tell if I'm joking.

Ooohh I just came back from the MTBR with another language innovation to share, "whip" is the new "rig". I'll quote them directly
"I’m in the process of dialing in a new XC (-ish) whip."

Whip works best if you pronounce it like Stuey from Family Guy.
They can't work out if you're taking the piss or just an imbecile*.
