Immaculate Rock Shox Indys

These forks are much improved if you fit Englund air cartridges to them. They end up being lighter than Sids. It doesn't get rid of the brake rub when cornering though. You also have the problem of spares as the SLs use parts that are a size unique to them, so other Indy spares won't fit.

nice example!

theyre only 75mm travel though arent they...

the thought of a 100mm travel Indy SL... theyre flexy enough as it is!!

I was just reading this and err,
Hi, they are 1" diameter, I think the frame they came off was around 18", but the frame size should not matter, its the geometry of the frame that is important when fitting suspension forks, I would imagine that they will be ok, If you have ridgid forks at the moment the bike will accept 80-100mm travel with no real problems, if anything they will probably slaken the head angle a little, which would give the bike more stability at speed but make the steering a little slower. Mark

Geometry means sod all if the steerer does not fit

Oh and rigid forks means 100mm is pefect for a bike

Mid 90's nope, late 90's at least 1998

And when is 11 years old Vintage ?

Long Travel version was 72mm then, not 100mm and these are NOS so have no modifications.
