I'm chuffed as hell - Thanks to ''biggs682''

found a Peugeot last month - and lotsa help/advice from biggs
arrived this morning - better than advertised - so well chuffed

P10PG on the label = ''Loire'' model
and serial #Y506 gives me June 1985

pics after dinner........ :D

i was in such a rush to get 'at it' i didn't take a pic assembled...............

but - arrival

BB with original label - it's a P10PG [TX =Misty Blue]

serial number gives June 1985

today i lubed both hubs, the BB [yucky brown grease], and the headset. New chain
tomorrow general polish of cranks, new bar-tape and cables - before a photo-shoot next sunny day

the rims are chrome with wee 1.5inch Weinmann brake blocks - any suggestions as to how i might actually stop in the wet..... :?:

This looks very nice, Do remember to update this thread! I'm watching.

As for stopping in the wet .. I suggest if it rains.. 'walk' not for your safety but hell you can't get this machine dirty.

Can you fit retro looking tan-wall tyres please

I would be tempted to rebuild the wheels with Alu rims. At least being a Peugeot they won't be 27", so you have plenty of choice. Rigida Chrina or Sputnik from Spa Cycles won't break the bank and are well-regarded.

nicely looked after bike but the same can't said for the room........

Not everyone can live in a palace mate! If you are happy with were you live and
what you have got, then nothing else really matters just as long as you still get sex!

At nearly 20 years old that's in good nick :)

Personally I'd remove the suicide brake levers though LOL
