If ever a Klein was in need of a refurb...!

Thanks for all the compliments, really looking forward to completing this now! I just hope I don't mess the remaining stages up as I'm in unknown territory from here on in with the sponges and varnish. Hopefully the effect of the varnish will be twofold - to help smooth off the texture of the sponged paint and also to protect the colour from UV.

I'm going to have to add a funny boat name now aren't I?

I think the one I've seen that made me laugh most was 'She Got the House'!

@PhillB has replicated the amazing GT Midnight Aurora colourway, so maybe you could borrow HIS magic sponge?!*

My magic sponge was simply a piece of natural sponge that I bought in an art shop :) Can't wait to see the next stage (good luck!)

Decals went on fine over the top by the way.

Blown away by the paint finish. It is a real skill to get brushed paint that good and this is right up there with some of the best classic car and steam loco brushed paint restoration work i have seen. Congratulations 👍👌😀
