Identify my Stem - Italmanubri???

Hi,

I've just stripped down a 70s roadie with mostly bog average parts. The stem is the only stand-out piece - it's branded ITM (Italmanubri???) and appears to have the remnants of an Italy badge on the front, but apart from that I know nothing about it, except it doesn't seem to be steel or ally. Does anyone have any more info about ITM and can possibly date this?

Cheers guys!

Looks like a bog standard ITM stem. 90mm long, so slightly on the longer side. Yours has got the split skirt at the bottom instead of the wedge adjuster which you don't see all that often, but the wedge adjuster is a slightly better system because it doesn't crack if used regularly. Not bad looking stems in my opinion because they are quite slimline and simple in design. I think all my stems are ITM ones like that!

Oh god I had one of those stems years ago and the whole handlebar clamp section
snapped clean off as I was out of the saddle going up a hill and the L shaped bit
stabbed me in the stomach and had to have two stitch's fcuking thing :|
