ID This Stumpjumper

I picked up this a couple of months ago for a nice winter project. I'm thinking it's somewhere between a 1990 and 1993 vintage. S/N is MOA 1927 The chain stays and drop outs look just like the 90 - 93 era Stumpjumpers. The rear brake bridge and rear brake cable are a little different than a 1992 Stumpjumper I have. So, there lies the confusion. The decals look aftermarket.

Looks like my 1990. Decal looks very mid '80s, but they were lugged then.

Actually, it looks a lot like yours. The decals appear to have been added after, on mine not yours. I was looking to put it together for my son over the winter with some spare parts I have.

gil_m can do the 1990 decals for you if you're getting a repaint/powdercoat - that's a new set on mine after it's trip to the powdercoaters.

If you do get new decals, helicopter tape on the top tube decals is advised though - very fragile.

A great riding frame, but then you probably know that if you own a '92.
