Trying to ID this crankset (well half of one as I don't have the left crank arm) if possible. Nothing fancy, probably some generic French set of little significance, but I quite fancy the look of it. Ring is swaged/peined to the crank and there are no maker's marks I can see apart from the pictured elements. Was thinking maybe a basic Stronglight but not sure and they normally have an "S" or similar marking. Comments appreciated......

Re:

Yes Cheesy that's what I'm thinking, maybe off a bog standard Peugeot or something. There a Stronglight set on Ebay now with identical markings.
Have a biscuit :D

Now the earch for a LH arm begins

I think I used to have spare LH one of those - but I'm not sure if i still have. It may well have been 'jumbled'. I can have a shufti in the shed - but don't hold your breath! I take it it is 170mm length?

The original was for a triple chainring set up

and heres a pic of a similar but different but similar but different!
