Francis Pélissier - the letter is to the Durax crank manufacture basically saying they are the bees knees on his bikes.

Credit to the very good folks at tontonvelo - an educated guess on my side, the answer was lurking and prodding through this lot and bingo.

Ah my french failed me a little there.....I certainly got the gist someone was quite gushing with comments tho! Really nice find that woz nice bit of provenance!

No not being sold I'm afraid ! I'm taking it back to its home in France once it's a rider and gifting it to a cousin...needs to stay in the family this one
