the whole argument about rising rapes in nyc is really just a strawman.

The whole topic of rapes at these events is also being used as a red herring.
The actions of a maniac should not be allowed to reflect on the group as a whole. Using them to discredit a group of people you don't happen to agree with (and I'm not talking about YOU 1duck, I'm talking about the conservative-biased media on the whole) is also pretty despicable ,showing as it does, a lack of respect for the victims and using them to further an agenda.

Find me a report of a rape at a tea party rally?

I mean when the most rednecky trashy political movement you can think of protest in a nicer manner than you, then you really have issues.

I would say at least the occupy movement aren't racists, but there does seem to be a hell of a lot of anti semitism going on in their ranks.

I guess yes i am a bigot to rapists, criminals and low lives in general...i do agree though that there is an element of painting the protestors by the right wing media, but then again there is the left wing media that paints them as angels and holds them up as heroes which i think is a little bit hypocritical...

If they were more organised they could certainly keep things under control better, if they just went away regrouped and rethought their protest. Clarifying their actual points, organising perhaps rallies instead of occupations a lot of what they say is spot on...i can understand the frustration at the current system, because a lot of people are suffering now just because of the complete cock up that the banks made of it all.

I personally just don't like the way they are going about it and the fact there seem to be a lot of people there who don't know what they are doing there...the daily show link further up the page summarised it for me really.
