How to re-attach a metal head badge?

Anyone had any experience in re-attaching a metal head badge, what did they use? Did it hold etc?

The one I've just taken of seems to have been held on by possibly double sided adhesive tape, so was thinking of using something similar from NoMore Nails?

I've used araldite on a titanium frame, and car badge double sided tape for a painted one.

Rubber cement or a hot glue gun will both work fine, and not damage the paint underneath.

Mind and 'rough' the areas to ensure a good grip for whatever adhesive you use.
The one on my clockwork was hanging off[[well 1/2 off] when it was delivered from the factory,i never bothered doing anything about it but it didnt move in the 8 odd years i owned the bike.
keep in mind also that nothing really comes into contact with it,it just sits there out the way from everything but wind :?

glue

bathrooom silicon sealant would do the job, squirt it on and tape in place overnight
