After the sad news of Jez Avery, and knowing that the Malverns classic was to remember jez by holding the bunnyhop comp,i thought about trying to find and build a Master for the event. After a wanted ad was placed on here it wasn't long before i got a link sent to me for a Master on marketplace. Checking out the ad showed a 14" frame and near original spec, all for £70. Unfortunately,it was a fair drive that at the time i was unable to make...but a member on the forum offered to collect and post the bike which was to be a great help. So,bike was bought, packaged and received a few weeks later.

Parts were then cleaned, polished but the frame just wasn't 'good' enough for me.
Getting this neon yellow as a powder coat proved to be very difficult until a wheel refurb centre next to where my sister works came up trumps. Ist time around, the quality of the job done was shocking..perfect colour but finish was bad. After talking to them and explaining that i'd done powdercoating previously for 3 years, they agreed to let me paint it myself. This time alot better.
As the malverns was getting very close, panic was setting in to the point that this wouldn't be finished in time for our thursday departure. Many evenings taking up fitting parts, rebuilding wheels and placing decals. Finally,1 hr before we were leaving it was finished!!!

Great rescue and restoration in super quick time! Love the fact that the powder coaters let you “spray” your own bike 2nd time around after they messed it up.

Looks amazing and brings back happy memories of Jez defying gravity. Looks stunning next to @boy"O"boy Proflex and crazy dinky next to the Hopometer if it does have such a name?!

Looks absolutely mega, and a fitting tribute.

Do you still have the short yellow flexstem? Thinking it would look good on my Mt.10+2 :)
