How rare?

Hi people,

Just aquired some ano red Mavic x517 rims from a local bike shop (payed next to nothing) any idea how rare or retro thse are? I think they must have come out same time as the citrus ones (circa 98'?) I had a set of those which now reside with Hilts!

They came out in 99/2000, they are a bit rare to find, and funny thing, i bought some NOS, yesterday, also.
They are going to my red cnc/titanium project, coming up soon...

Think they will go nice with raw ti frame & amber Tiogas. Wish I could get hold of some ti-dye spokes

Just moved the citrus onto my Carbon Alpinestar, they look great with a black frame and all black tyres !!
