Horizontal drop-out rough cost

anyone know a rough cost for having rear dropouts replaced with horizontal ones in an old steel frame?

Done a quick search but found nowt...

Google found me 2 frame builders within about 10 miles.. have emailed one of them, see what he says

Steven shand will charge £75 . I also had some cable guides removed ( could have done it myself but decided to give them the chop while he had the frame so said to whip them off ) , added crud braze ons for the downtube and a cable stop for the toptube , cost me £100 .

That's not off the wall at all

The frame's already had the gear cable guides removed and I'm planning on having it repainted/powdercoated over the colder months, so figured it may be worth having the dropouts done if I could afford it..

The local chap is called Justin Burls . . and there's another a little further away.. Ken Baker
