May 1952 Hobbs Blue Riband Road Track 22 1/2"
Was refinished before I bought the frameset in a rather lovely understated gunmetal grey metallic with H Lloyd transfers.
I built it up with GB Coureur brakes front and rear, Reynolds stem, bars and an R5 seatpin. Saddle is a modern Brooks Pro. Chainset is Stronglight running on a Campagnolo bottom bracket. Wheels are tubulars with double fixed hub 100mm and 120mm OLN spacing.
£500 collected.

Next up is my lovely Viscount Aerospace Pro. 58cm
Much under rated in my opinion. This will be for sale after the 19th June.
Refinished by Mario Vaz last year. Transfers by H Lloyd cycles.
I had built the bike up with a full 1st Generation Dura Ace Black group and a threadless bottom bracket. But now I have managed to find the correct Telephone dial chainset and an original pressed in bottom bracket. Bars and Stem are SR Road Champion, Seat post SR Laprade and saddle Selle San Marco Rolls Wheels are 27" x 1 1/4" running on NOS Shimano Dura Ace Black hubs. Will come with a choice of gearing either 14-28 with short cage Crane rear mech or 14-32 with the extremly rare Crane GS long cage Black (this is the only one I have ever seen in the flesh) £700

Gorgeous Viscount. Had one back in the early 80s. Underappreciated because of the aluminium forks / steel steerer problems, but always remember the handling was superb, could corner with total confidence on it. Never the same after I changed the forks tho' must have got a shift in geometry before I understood these things.

The forks on this one are the MK111 version that are safe. What you say about the handling is true, corners like it is on rails yet a comfortable ride too. I have just built myself a full Dura-Ace Pat Hanlon and am just about to start on Raleigh Team Professional, so need some space. The Hobbs is also lovely to ride but just does not get the use it should. Saying that if the weather gods are kind it will get let out to play tomorrow.

Great to see some of you at Eroica and the comments about the Viscount.

The Viscount is no longer for sale, but the Hobbs is still available.
