Highly underrated Waterford 2400

That is nice indeed...I shall have to do some Waterford research

All the handbuilt Paramounts were made in Waterford Harry. They were one of the early US premier frame builders of exquisite lugged road frames. IIRC bad cnc habit has a BIN price of 2K on an absolutely gorgeous lugged Paramount MTB in his ebay store.

Yes and yes, bad habit had that frame at $995 once upon a time, but the price has steadily risen as it remains unsold. Interesting tactic.

I've owned a couple waterford 2400 frames. Sweet sweet frames, lugged perfectly, yet still fairly light weight, with Henry James drop outs, and I believe one of them had Henry James lugs, as well. I sold them for $250 and $400, one being in much better condition than the other. Waterford no longer makes them, though I'm sure they would be willing to do a special order.

Thank you chaps....another steel frame would be nice but I am supposed to be being sensible

 retrobike and sensibilities?
I watch this 2400 every time it comes up, in hopes that he will substantially lower his asking price, and my paypal is flush.

Meh. Not into that one.

CNC's is nice and that paint is really really cool. I bet he'd go down to the former price. It is BIN or offer, after all.

Have you ever ridden one?
I would only want the frame, but I'm not a buyer right now...so guess I'm just talking.

Oh dear....oh dear oh dear oh dear. When will I ever be sensible. I will sell most of the components and build up over time to my taste, and when funds allow. Here's hoping it gets here in fine fettle.
