Right up my street! - I think I'd want the vintage equivalent but this is beautiful all the same, I adore the chainstays on these Hetchins .

Didn't think Reynolda advised chroming 753 Race tubing ?

Seat and chain stays were "vibrant" because you couldn't race with the makers name on the bike, or so the old wive's tale goes

Really lovely bike, so much craftsmanship and details. Like the brazed ornament on the seatstay by the brake bridge is blending with the seatstay in the middle. And these lugs... and chainstays of course
Reynolds prohibited chroming on 753 tubing, but as we can see not always it was respected.
