Help please !

I am just finishing the restoration of a 1936 New Hudson trade bike. The problem I have is being able to source the spring steel clips which hold the stand up to the basket carrier. I purchased some from Pashley but these were too big in diameter and cannot be made to fit. Does any-one know where I can purhase some clips ( I could supply a photograph if necessary of a broken clip ) ?
