ATB for me still means cheap Raleigh/Apollo made of iron, whilst MTB was Marin/Kona - they even had stickers on supporting this. The law of the school playground was set that ATB is uncool and I can never go back

Perhaps "uncool" is what ATB needs, a disengagement from the "more is always cooler " mindset
It'd be cool if they could hover. Imagine how smooth the trail could feel. Or instead of handling "like it's on rails" we could install them on rails. Ultimate flow achieved
