That's the service I had become accustomed to, but this tIme it's been a farce. Just checked Andre order was placed on the 29th of April and it's still not in my hands.

I'm supposed to be doing about 50/60 miles next weekend and it's looking to be all on my single speed.

I know its not their usual service but it's pissed me right off. I spent a lot of time deciding what to buy and where from and am more than a litttle disappointed about what has happened.

I don't get a lot of time to ride with friends these days and was hoping to have the build done in time for this weekend. It's over a year since I've even seen a couple of these guys and I really wanted to show off what I've done.

Plus 2x30 milers + beer + singlespeed is going to hurt

I use them from time to time and so far i havent had a single problem with them
Last purchase arrived 3 days after ordering[25/05/12]. 4 hope lever covers and 2 bore caps all in red Im ordering the red lever blades tomorrow for posting Monday.

It's here!!!!!!

The box has just arrived and I've eagerly ripped it open to find......


the rear shifter and gear cabel kit missing and the cassette which was ordered as part of the wheel build just thrown in the box :x :x :x :x


the shifter is oos for another week and they'll give me a tenner voucher to make up for the lack of cassette fitting.

Get a LBS to fit it and show them the receipt.

Yeah the lbs will be doing it all now . I've bolted most stuff on now, but I'm not going to have time to learn cabling and brake set up between now and Saturday. So the lbs are going to set the bike up for me.
I'm disappOinted that I won't be able to credit the whole rebuild to me (built not bought) but I'm still please with how it will work in he end.
The stans kit will have to wait too as I don't think my tyres will work so I'll wait till next year to sort that maybe. I've still got a couple of panaracer fire's and some dmr moto's to wear out. I'll get some more compatible tyres after.

Cabling and brake setup are very simple, you could probably become a wizard in an evening.

I'm sure i could, but i have but a few hours free this week, and they will be mostly used rerunning my gas supply from my meter to my boiler and cooker, which if not achieved may result in emasculation by swmbo

I'll just have to learn on one of my other steeds. :roll:
