Has RB replaced your social life.....? Discuss....

Just realised I'm sat here wheeler dealing and chatting on line with you lot on a Friday night....

Once upon a time I would have been 'out there' socialising and up the pub, now I'm sat here quite contented and getting slowly older and even have the fluffy slippers....

Shouldn't we be worried or something....?

I've dabbled in FB over the years but find it just a place where people use it to brag and boast of how great their lives are to their multitude of 'friends', very few of which they ever see or have actually ever seen in person :roll:

Where I think it has it's benefits is with Family that people don't see very often

I've been invited out on a girls' night next Friday, I'm planning it already. And whether it would be feasible to set the lap top up there for regular fixes of this.....

I was actually convinced by my near neighbour to go to a quiz at a local pub this week on Thursday night, turn up at said pub 12-15 people in pub, quiz cancelled Go to another pub 12-15 miserable specimens hanging around slowly drinking themselves to oblivion Go to third pub Barmaid and us only.................. after about 20 mins the 'Pool' team arrives back 7 more desperate souls annihilating their last remaining brain cells with alcohol ......................... No wonder so many pubs are shutting down :facepalm: Suffice to say it will be a long while before I am tempted out of my fluffy slippers again
